From a pencil sketch to the final layer. Every commissioned portrait starts with a sketch you approve, then builds layer by layer until it feels alive. Commissions open for clients in {city} and across India.
Photo brief. Timelapse-style carousel of a portrait from pencil sketch to finished painting, face shown from the side, studio light.
Myths your customers believe
Posts that correct a myth earn trust. Your plan includes them, with your business name attached.
Myth. Original art is only for the rich
Fact. Small originals, sketches and limited prints make original art affordable. Many collectors start with one small piece they love.
Myth. A commission is just a copy of a photo
Fact. A commissioned portrait is an interpretation. The artist chooses light, colour and composition to capture a feeling, not just a likeness.
Myth. Art should match the sofa
Fact. Art that moves you will outlast any sofa. Choose what you connect with, then let the room adapt around it.
Myth. Prints and originals are the same
Fact. An original is one of a kind, with the texture of the artist's hand. A print reproduces the image. Both have value, at different prices.
How to choose art for your home
- Pick a piece you feel something for, not one that matches
- Measure the wall and leave space around the artwork
- Hang it at eye level, about where people naturally look
Questions your customers ask
How does a portrait commission work?
We discuss size, medium and the photos you have, agree a price and timeline, share a sketch for approval, then paint. An advance confirms the booking.
How long does a commission take?
It depends on size and detail. Painting layers need drying time, so share any occasion date early.
What mediums do you work in?
Tell us what you like. Many artists work in acrylic, oil, watercolour or mixed media; each has its own look and price.
Do you paint murals?
Yes. Wall murals for homes, cafés, schools and offices are planned with a sketch, then painted on site.
Can you ship paintings to other cities?
Yes. Paintings are packed carefully, and larger canvases can be shipped rolled or crated depending on size.
Do you sell prints?
Selected works may be available as prints in limited sizes. Ask which pieces are available.
