How long will the ritual take?
An honest estimate is given at booking, including preparation. Rituals vary considerably in length, and a family planning a day around one deserves a real number rather than a comfortable one.
Can you explain what is being said as it happens?
Yes, and it is encouraged. The intention belongs to the family. A brief explanation before each stage takes little time and changes the experience entirely.
How are the charges decided?
Discussed and agreed at booking, in a clear number, including travel. Settling this at the start avoids the awkwardness of settling it at the end.
Our family follows a particular tradition. Will that be respected?
Yes. We will ask about your family's custom before the day rather than applying a single method. Where a practice differs from ours, we will say so and follow yours where appropriate.
What is a muhurat and can it be adjusted?
It is a time arrived at from specific factors rather than assigned arbitrarily. There is often flexibility, and we will explain what is fixed and what is workable rather than simply issuing a time.
Can a ritual be performed online or remotely?
Some can within tradition and some cannot. We will tell you honestly which this is rather than agreeing to whatever is convenient.
How far in advance should we book?
For weddings and griha pravesh, as early as the date is fixed. Festival periods and auspicious months fill first, sometimes months ahead.
