A sample post

This is the kind of post that lands in your plan, here for Instagram.

A SahiPost poster for branding agencies and brand designers, made from the post "Myth: A brand is just a logo.", with the business name, phone number and logo along the bottom
The poster SahiPost made for this post.

Myth: A brand is just a logo. Fact: The logo is the signature. The brand is what people expect from you. How you look, sound, price, serve and follow up. The logo only reminds them of it. Fix the experience and the look together.

Photo brief. Split card: a single logo mark on the left labelled MYTH, a flat lay of card, bag, board and phone screen all in one consistent identity on the right labelled FACT. No readable brand names.

Myths your customers believe

Posts that correct a myth earn trust. Your plan includes them, with your business name attached.

Myth. A brand is just a logo

Fact. A logo is the signature. The brand is what people expect from you: how you look, sound, price, serve and follow up. The logo only reminds them of it.

Myth. Rebranding means losing loyal customers

Fact. Customers follow quality and service, not an old font. A planned rebrand that explains the change usually brings regulars along and attracts new ones.

Myth. Branding is only for big companies

Fact. A sweet shop, a clinic or a hardware store benefits from a consistent look as much as any large company. Consistency is cheap; confusion is expensive.

Myth. More colours make a brand look richer

Fact. Strong brands use few colours and use them the same way everywhere. Restraint is what makes a brand recognisable from across the road.

How to tell if your brand needs a refresh

  1. Put your board, card, packaging and website side by side
  2. Ask whether a stranger would know they are the same business
  3. Note where the look no longer matches your prices or quality

Questions your customers ask

What does a brand identity project include?

Usually a logo with variations, a colour palette, typefaces, a few key applications like visiting cards and signage, and a short guideline document so everyone uses it the same way.

How long does a rebrand take?

For a small or mid-sized business, typically a few weeks for strategy and design, then time for rolling it out across signage, stationery, packaging and online profiles.

Do we need a new name?

Only if the current one is confusing, hard to spell, too close to a competitor or limits where the business is going. Most businesses keep their name and refresh the look.

Will you register our trademark?

Trademark filing is done by a trademark attorney or agent. We can check obvious conflicts early and work alongside your attorney so the design is ready to file.

What are brand guidelines and do we need them?

A short document showing how to use the logo, colours and fonts. If more than one person, printer or designer touches your brand, you need them.

Can we roll out a new look gradually?

Yes. Start with digital profiles and stationery, then signage and packaging as old stock runs out. Plan the order so nothing looks half-changed for long.
