A sample post

This is the kind of post that lands in your plan, here for Instagram.

POV: the mother of the bride finally sits down, because someone else is answering the phone. That is the entire job, honestly. Not the flowers. Not the lighting. Somebody has to be the person forty vendors call, so the family can be at their own function instead of running it. If you have ever spent your own wedding on a phone, you know exactly what this is worth.

Photo brief. Reel or single image. One honest photograph of a family member seated and unbothered in the middle of a function, shot from behind or side-on so nobody is identifiable. Real footage, shot on a phone, not stock.

Myths your customers believe

Posts that correct a myth earn trust. Your plan includes them, with your business name attached.

Myth. A planner is an extra cost on top of the event

Fact. A planner is paid out of what they stop you overpaying elsewhere. If they do not save you their own fee in vendor negotiation and avoided mistakes, they have not done the job.

Myth. The family can manage it themselves with enough WhatsApp groups

Fact. They can, and most do. What they cannot do is enjoy it. Somebody has to be the person vendors call at 6 AM, and it should not be the mother of the bride.

Myth. All decor quotes are comparable

Fact. Two quotes for the same look can differ on flower quality, structure height, labour count and whether transport and teardown are included. Compare inclusions, not totals.

Myth. Bigger vendor lists mean better events

Fact. Every extra vendor is another coordination point that can fail. A small, well-rehearsed team beats a long list of names on a spreadsheet.

How to compare two event quotes that look the same

  1. Line up inclusions side by side, not totals
  2. Check whether transport, setup labour and teardown are inside or extra
  3. Ask what happens to the price if the date moves by a week

Questions your customers ask

What does your quote actually include?

Every line is itemised: decor, labour, transport, setup and teardown times, and what is rented versus bought. Anything not on the sheet is not in the price, and we say so explicitly.

Who is in charge on the day?

One named person, with a phone number, on site from setup to teardown. You do not coordinate vendors; that is the thing you are paying us to absorb.

Do you subcontract?

Yes, for specialist work like sound, lighting and catering. You get the list of who is doing what before you sign, not after something goes wrong.

What is the rain plan?

Written and priced before the booking, not decided on the day. It covers the cutoff time for the decision, who makes it, and what the alternative setup costs.

How far ahead should we book?

Six to eight months for a wedding in season, three for a corporate event. The constraint is rarely us; it is the good venues and the good sound teams.

What happens if the guest count changes?

Tell us as early as you can. Most costs step in blocks rather than per head, so a change of twenty may cost nothing or may change the whole layout.

Will the event look like the reference photos?

It will look like what we agreed on the layout drawing and the flower list, which we will show you before anything is ordered. Reference photos are a starting point, not a promise.

What is the payment schedule?

Staged against milestones, with the final instalment after teardown rather than before setup. Anything else puts the risk entirely on you.
