A sample post
This is the kind of post that lands in your plan, here for Instagram.
Designing a banner? Make it readable from across the road. 1. Keep the message to a few large words. 2. Use strong contrast: dark on light or light on dark. 3. Make the logo and phone number big. People read banners in seconds while moving. Flex printing in {city}.
Photo brief. Split image: a cluttered banner with tiny text on the left, a clean banner with three big blank text blocks on the right, both on a shopfront.
Myths your customers believe
Posts that correct a myth earn trust. Your plan includes them, with your business name attached.
Myth. Any image can be blown up to banner size
Fact. Large prints need large files. A small web image stretched to banner size turns blurry. Vector logos and high-resolution photos print cleanly at any size.
Myth. All flex is the same
Fact. Flex comes in different grades and finishes. Backlit flex, frontlit flex and star flex suit different uses and budgets.
Myth. Outdoor prints will last for years regardless of material
Fact. Sun, rain and dust wear any print. Choosing the right material and ink for outdoor use, and fixing it properly, makes it last much longer.
Myth. More text gives more information
Fact. People read a banner in seconds from a distance. A few large words do more than a paragraph nobody can read.
How to design a banner people can read from far
- Keep the main message to a few large words
- Use dark text on a light background or the reverse
- Make the phone number and logo large enough to read from across the road
Questions your customers ask
What file size do I need for a banner?
Send the original design file or a high-resolution PDF at the actual print size. Vector logos are best. We will check the file before printing.
Which material should I choose?
Frontlit flex suits most outdoor banners, backlit flex suits lit boxes, vinyl suits glass and smooth walls, and standee material suits indoor events. Tell us where it will go.
How long will an outdoor banner last?
It depends on sun, rain and material. Good material fixed tightly lasts much longer than cheap flex left flapping in the wind.
Can you install the banner or wall graphic?
We can arrange fitting for many jobs. Tell us the site, height and surface so we can plan safe installation.
Do I need permission to put up a banner outside?
Public places usually need local body permission. Check with your municipal office before putting up outdoor banners.
How quickly can you print?
Simple flex jobs can be quick; large runs, festival rush periods and installation take longer. Share your event date when you order.
